Frosty the Snowman

We have Santa and Frosty the Snowman in the fornt yard so I thought it would be cute to take the boy's picture in front of Frosty.Merry Christmas to all and have a safe and Happy New Year.

A snowy Day

This morning I bundled up the boy's and took them outside to play in the snow. I pulled them both around the house in there sled. Jack could hardly move in his snowpants and his little boots kept falling off. They are a little big so that hopefully he can wear them again next winter. We had a really fun time outside this morning.

Last night when I was giving Jack his bath he tried drinking the water as I was filling the tub. He must ahve swallowed so much water but he did not seem to mind. And as you can see in the other bath pictures he now loves to stand in the bath and try and walk around. I have to always tell him NO and have to sit him down, he eventually listens. He is now 11 months old and approaching "1" quickly.

School Christmas program

Carter had his Christmas program tonight and it was the cutes thing ever. They combined all the preschool classes and they all got on stage and sang Christmas songs. I sat right in the front row and was almost crying it was so cute. I am so proud of Carter he did a really good job. Carter is the second one in from the far end of the picture with the black cords and black vest. My parents came and so did some good friends of ours. jack loved it to he sat and sang and made his own Christmas songs.

The Hockey games

This is the unfinished part of our basement which is where we play all our hockey games, soccer and basketball games. As you can see Carter and my dad are playing a game of Hockey. carter is usually the minnesota wild and my dad is the another team he usually switches them up. carter is always the winner of the games and the score is always 2-2. Funny how he wins.....

This is on the other side of the play area where they can watch movies and play games on the tv.

The new playroom

This area where all the toys are used to be just wasted space and my mom being the creative one made the boys a playroom, all of there toys are there and Carter has his cd player and cd's to listen to music and all the books are down there. It was such a wonderful idea and I think it really turned out nice. So now all the toys are in our basement which I love we can make a mess and leave it at the end of the day instead of picking up all the toys.

Carter and the computer

Carter has now taking a liking to the computer, he is on it all the time. He at first told me he was checking his emails and now it has turned into him getting on the Internet by himself and can now find the link to watch hockey, it is truly amazing. He is so smart. I bought him some computer games to play so I finally got them out and he can click on them and start playing fun and educational games.

Jack is crawling

I think Jack has things backwards he has started walking with help as seen in the pictures below and tonight I set him on the floor to play with his toys and he tipped over and rolled on his stomach and then soon he was crawling all over it was so amazing, now he can enter into a whole new world of trouble. In the background is Carter on the computer.

Jack is learning to walk, we took apart his exersaucer that he would sit and it converts to a walker and now he loves to walk all over the house sometimes he gets going to fast or not fast enough and we will fall down but he grabs the handles and pulls himself back up or sometimes we have to help him up. Soon he will be walking all on his own.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all... We spent the morning at the sports center playing except for when I went ot put Jack's dragon costume on it was to tight so we had to borrow one from the sports center (he was a Girraffe). Later tonight after ther naps we will do some trick or treating and then maybe the YMCA they are having a Halloween party.

I got to spend the day with carter at his school for his Halloween party. It was alot of fun as you can see he was Thomas the train. We played games and had snacks and then we went on a costume parade across the street to a retirement home and they sure loved seeing all the kids dressed up for halloween.

So Big

Jack loves to stand and hang on to the furniture now and he is not happy unless you are doing that or holding his hands and walking all over the house. (It is hard on your back). I think he will be walking soon (hopefully). He has gotten alot better at sleeping through the night and he now weighs 23 lbs and growing like a weed. He loves to eat all kinds of people food.

Carter is such a good big brother, he loves to play with Jack and is usually sitting on him and trying to wrestle him and Jack just lays there and laughs at him. They both are such a blessing and I love them both so much....

The Boy's and the band

Carter loves listening to music his favorite song to listen to over and over again is "All summer long" by Kid Rock. He has me bring it up on the computer and he plays it all day and night long so he usually gets his guitar and Jack plays the piano and I have the microphone or when my parents are here Carter makes sure that everyone is playing an instrument. It is pretty funny.

After a long day at the pumpkin patch we all went ot dinner and both boys fell asleep on the way home. I just had to take there picture.

A day at the Pumpkin Patch

We spent the day at the pumpkin patch on Sat and it was such a beautiful day except for all the ladybugs attacking us. The boys sat amongst all the pumkins and we all went on a hayride and Carter got to go on a racetrack and drive littlr cars around there was so much to do there but it was so hot and the bugs were so bad and without naps both boys were tired so we called it a day.

The Boy's

Each and every day is something new with these two, Carter is now in pre school 2 days a week and he loves it. He just had his 3 year check up and now weighs 37 1/2 pounds and is so much fun to be around. He is getting a little sasssy though which I do not like but he skipped the terrible two's so now maybe he is testing us. Lately he has been getting out of his bed at night and coming into our bed which I am ok with because at least we get some sleep but I do not know how to get him to stay in his bed.

Jack is almost 9 months old and is a terrible sleeper, he hardly naps during the day and is usually up 2- 3 times a night. Although if you look in his mouth he has his 2 bottom teeth and one middle tooth on the top and he has about 5 more teeht on the top poking through so I am sure that is why he does not sleep so good. ( Hopefully he outgrows it soon). He is trying so hard to crawl but has not yet he just rolls all over the house. He loves to play with carter he is alwasy laughing when he is around. I am guessing he weighs close to 22 pounds, we will know for sure when he gows in for his 9 months check up.

Carter was always afraid of the lawn mower, when rob would mow the lawn we would have to be in the house because he sais it was to loud and he was scared. One night when I got home from work I see Rob mowing the lawn and carter as you can see is right there riding around with him. He sat on Rob's lap and mowed the entire lawn. I am so proud of him.

Bath time fun................

Carter and Jack love taking their baths together, they alwasy have so much fun together they play with their toys and splash each other and so one night I got out his foam and put some on their heads and they though that was so funny. Then carter put it all over himself.

The Injury

This is what can happen when you get to close to your neighbor doing the hoola hoop. it does not look so bad in the picture but he had a pretty good black and blue eye and it was pretty red and swollen. So needless to say or night at the campground came to an end. But all in all we had a wonderful labor day weekend.

After a fund ay at the pool the boy's and I got changed and had dinner and then that night there was a band at the campground and the kids got to play with the hoolahoops and boy did Carter have fun with that. he thought he was pretty good and was having so much fun... Here is carter getting ready to go down the waterslide at the campground, he went down this waterslide about a million times. It was such a nice weekend to be at the pool one last time.

Summer Fun

This past Labor day weekend we went to a campground in Osseo ( I forget the name) we met some good friends there that were camping and the boy's got to go swimming and they had a really nice playground for the kids. We had a really nice time.

Carter and Jack

Well bothe boy's are doing wonderful. Carter has mastered the potty training and is now wearing big boy underwear all the time (Even at night). He stays dry all day and night and can now even go the bathroom by himself. It is so amamzing he just turned the corner overnight. I am so proud of him.
Jack is now 7 months old and just went to the doctor for his check up and he weighs 20lbs and 8ozs and was 27 1/4 inches long. I know He is a big boy. He now has his 2 front bottom teeth and there more trying to come through.

One night I was not feeling good and Rob was gone so I decided to give the boy's their bath's at the same time. They both loved it and so much fun. Now that has become our nightly routine and it works out really nice.

As I was making dinner one night Carter decided that he wanted to help me so he grabbed his step stool and the spoon and he began to stir the sauce. He actually did a really good job and di not even make a mess. He is such a good helper.

Carter and jack just hanging outside and posing for yet another picture mommy wanted to take. Carter is such a good big brother except for the night we were playing outside and Jack was sitting in the grass and Carter I think not to sure but he accidently kicked his soccer ball and pegged jack right in the head. jack is tough he just tipped over and cried for maybe a minute.

The other day I was having a piece of licorce and Jack grabbed it right out of my hand and put it in his mouth so I let him have it to see what he would do and after a cople of minutes he was drooling red all over the place so needless to say I had to take it away and clean him up. He was not to happy after I took it away. But I figured with no teeth it would take him awhile to eat the entire piece.

Well it was a sad day for me when I had to convert Jack's baby bath so he could sit up in the bathtub and on that same day I had to bring up the highchair from the basement. He is now almost 7 months old and getting big way to fast for me. My little baby is growing by leaps and bounds.

Thanks to Elmo's potty time dvd and book I think Carter has mastered the potty training. He has been staying dry in his pull ups and has also been waking up to tell us thtah he has to go poopy and potty. We now just have to work on going in public places. I have tried but he say's no Momma they do not have a chair for me so we will work on that at home.
For those of you working on potty training I really reccommend Elmo's potty time book and dvd, Carter loves them both and he knows the dvd by heart and he reads his book while on the big boy chair and it has made a world of difference.

I re-did the boy's bathroom for them so that was kid friendly and they have been at my mom and dad's for a few days so I am excited for Carter to see it when he comes home on Tues. I have wantd to this bathroom pattern for so long and it was finally on sale at Kohl's so I went and bought everything.

Carter always likes to pretend to drive the van. He is always turning on everything in there so when I get in in the morning for work everything turns on so it takes me a minute to turn it all off. So one day Carter said he wanted to go tho Target to buy some stuff so I put Jack in the passengers seat so he could go along for the ride. Carter though that was pretty cool.

• Here are my boy's relaxing in the shade after a hard day of swimming at the pool. When it is nice we try and go to the pool most days because summer is so short and Carter is always asking to go so this year we got another family pass for us since once you turn 3 you have to pay to get in.
  

This is exciting

This is how Jack usually spends his time at the pool, it seems to be his nap time time when we go but when he is awake he loves to be in the water. He loves to kick and splash around. And he does not seem to mind when the kids run by and he gets splashed in the face with water he just laughs.
